San Francisco
The tour starts with a scenic drive north through Central California’s where we experience the Exploratorium— AKA California Science Center. We’ll tour Alcatraz Island with their Award Winning Audio Tour. The tour continues with an adventure on the San Francisco Cable Cars (optional), Pier 39 and the famed California Sea Lions! You’ll be part of a Group Photo with the Golden Gate Bridge & SF Behind you.
Sacramento
Next we’re off to tour the California Jelly Belly Factory, free Samples included, yum. Then it’s on to visit the California State Capitol. We’ll walk the streets of Old Town and see the trains of the California Railroad Museum. Next we’ll explore Sutter’s Fort, established in 1839.
Gold Country
After winding our way up the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range we will arrive in Coloma! We’ll pan for Gold near the banks of the American River with help from a Mountain Man. We’ll prepare for a journey “Out West” while packing a covered wagon then we will hike up to get a great view of the Coloma Valley next to the James Marshall Memorial.
